Editorial Policy

TravelDealForge exists to help travellers make better-informed booking decisions. Every page on this site — from flight comparisons to cruise itineraries — is produced with a single objective: present the most accurate, unbiased, and useful travel information available.

We are a metasearch and comparison platform, not a booking agent. We aggregate data from 500+ travel providers across 190+ countries so you can compare prices, routes, and features side by side. Our revenue comes from affiliate commissions paid by providers when you click through and book — this never influences the order, prominence, or editorial treatment of results.

Content and commerce are separated by design:

• The editorial team does not see commission rates when writing or reviewing content. Ranking and recommendation logic is determined by relevance, quality, and value to the reader — never by payout.
• No provider can pay for placement in editorial content. Sponsored placements, where they exist, are clearly labelled "Sponsored" or "Ad".
• Negative coverage is published when warranted. If a provider has service issues, hidden fees, or poor reviews, we say so.
• We disclose affiliate relationships prominently on every page with outbound commercial links. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Our content goes through a structured research process:

1. Primary data collection — We pull live pricing, availability, and route data directly from provider APIs (Viator, Tiqets, Expedia, Booking.com, and others) so comparisons reflect real-time conditions, not cached snapshots.
2. Secondary research — Destination guides, seasonal recommendations, and travel tips are informed by official tourism board data, government travel advisories, and peer-reviewed travel studies.
3. Community signals — We incorporate aggregated review scores and traveller sentiment from platforms like Trustpilot and Google Reviews, always citing the source.
4. On-the-ground experience — Where possible, our team tests products and services first-hand before recommending them. Tested items are marked "Hands-on Tested".

Every piece of editorial content is subject to a two-stage review:

1. Writer self-check — The author verifies all claims, prices, and links before submission.
2. Editorial review — A second team member cross-references key facts against primary sources and verifies that affiliate links resolve correctly.

Automated data (e.g., live pricing) is validated by our ingestion pipelines, which run staleness checks every 24 hours and remove products that fail verification.

• Live data — Pricing and availability are refreshed in real time via API feeds. Stale products are automatically flagged and hidden.
• Scheduled audits — Destination guides and "best of" lists are reviewed on a quarterly cadence. The "Last updated" date on each page reflects the most recent substantive edit.
• Reader feedback — We welcome corrections. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will investigate within 48 hours.

In summary: results are ranked by a combination of price competitiveness, verified traveller reviews, provider reliability, and relevance to your search. Commission rates are explicitly excluded from the ranking algorithm.

We use artificial intelligence and automation in the following areas:

• Data aggregation — Automated pipelines collect, normalise, and deduplicate pricing data from 500+ provider APIs.
• Content drafting assistance — AI tools may produce initial drafts for destination descriptions and FAQ answers. All AI-generated text is reviewed and edited by a human editor before publication.
• Translation — Localised versions of the site are produced with machine translation and reviewed by native-speaking editors for accuracy and cultural appropriateness.

AI is never the sole author of published content. Every page carries a human-reviewed attribution.

If you believe any content on TravelDealForge is inaccurate, misleading, or outdated:

1. Contact our editorial team with the URL and a description of the issue.
2. We aim to acknowledge reports within 24 hours and resolve within 48 hours.
3. Substantive corrections are noted in a "Correction" notice at the top of the affected page.
