From walking to wine sampling You won't be bored for a day at EuroParcs Hermagor, as the enthusiastic team organises everything in and around the campsite. The youngest children will amuse themselves at the children's club or with pony riding, or they may take part in sports competitions, aqua gym or sportive days out. The programme is varied and fun, especially during school holidays. The team is also ready to take you on an adventure in the surrounding area. From mountain hiking for beginners and families, to challenging trips out with the inevitable climbing. Mountain biking and canyoning are also included in the programme. Attention has also been paid to culinary adventurers; you can sample delicious Italian wines and olive oil. Delicious food This is a great place to get something to eat and drink. There is an attractive campsite restaurant where you can savour local and international dishes. Fresh sandwiches, shopping and takeaway meals are all available on the campsite, which is great if you don't feel like cooking after an exciting day out. Toboggan riding The Nassfeld region is less than half an hour away from the campsite. With various cable cars, playgrounds, a treetop adventure park and the longest summer toboggan run in Carinthia, this is the perfect place for a great day out with all the family. Much thought has been given to having a safe and enjoyable day out in the mountains, even with small children. That's very reassuring for the parents. It's also fun to tour around the surrounding area, as you are so incredibly close to both Italy and Slovenia. How about eating a pizza in Tarvisio or discovering the Julian Alps from Kranjska Gora in Slovenia; you can drive there in just an hour! If you want great shopping, soaking in some culture, or enjoying a street café, it's only an hour in the car to the charming towns of Villach and Klagenfurt.
